Summer Day Camp seeks to provide a unique and memorable day camp experience for each of our campers. Weekly, we host around 400 campers across two of our local elementary schools in CSISD. At each of our campuses, campers are divided into JR Camp or SR Camp based on the completion of their recent grade level. Each age group's programming is intentionally designed to interest and challenge campers and provide them opportunities to serve, develop, and connect with peers and staff.

What makes camp, CAMP?

To help our potential families familiarize themselves with our program, the following outlines some components at camp their child(ren) will experience during their time with us.

CAMP ROUND UPS

High energy, chanting, singing, and dancing fill this time as we celebrate coming together as a camp. Campers will also enjoy skits put on by our creative staff, intercamp or inter-cabin challenges, awarding of our famous HYPE FLAG, and much more.

MORNING ACTIVITIES

Morning Activities provide the opportunity to explore different interests or talents. Indoor/outdoor focused activities such as soccer, weaving, basketball, drawing, football, mosaics, dance, etc. are among the many we offer throughout the summer. Campers preference their morning activities weekly and will be scheduled to participate in two of their preferences.

THEMATIC ACTIVITIES

When we are not traveling the great state of Texas, our afternoons consist of large and small group choice activities that center around a common theme. Indoor/outdoor theme based activities, send our campers through special adventures such as scavenger hunts, hide-n-seek, rodeos, dances, and more. They will create crafts and participate in a variety of large/small group games that celebrate the weekly theme. We provide as much opportunity for choice during this time.

FIELD TRIPS

Field trips remain as one of our favorite components in our program. We strive to provide a variety of destination experiences for our campers, who might not otherwise get to experience outside of camp. From museums, theme parks, to major league baseball games and zoos, we visit a plethora of locations to enhance each camper's summer and make lasting memories.
