Monday

Campers - at the site all day

Tuesday

Field Trip: Fireman's Park & Silverwings- Brenham, TX

• • Depart - 8:45am; Return - 4:30pm

  • Wear SDC FIELD TRIP  shirt 

  • Wear SOCKS for skating.

  • Campers are allowed to bring $1 to rent inline skates/rollerblades.

  • Pack extra water

Wednesday

Campers - at the site all day

DRESS UP! - wear something pool themed OR from a favorite theme this summer 

Thursday

SDC Water Day @ Southwood Valley

• • Adamson’s Lagoon will be closed, so we have planned a water day with games and an inflatable wet obstacle course

  • Bring your swimsuit, water shoes, towel, sunscreen, etc

Friday

Field Trip: Cinemark Movies:  Minions 3 (rated PG)

• • Depart - 1:15pm; Return - 4:30pm

  • Wear SDC FIELD TRIP  shirt 

• • Parents are welcome to pre-purchase a movie snack pack for their camper through our Eleyo registration system, by clicking HERE.

    • Link for pre-orders will close Thursday, July 30thth at 6:00pm. No money will be accepted on site.

  • There will not be open concessions available for JR campers; we are only doing PRE-purchased movie snack packs which has popcorn, fruit gummies, & drink (sprite, fruit punch, or water)

Hours of operation: 

• 7:30am – 6:00pm

Camper Absence Notification Form - click HERE.

Check-in/check-out at Southwood Valley Elementary

• Located at the front of the school.

• Click HERE for a map on where to enter for Check In/Check Out.

• Check In will begin at 7:30am

  • Please stay in your car and wait for camp staff to approach for the check in process.

  • Check in closes at 9:00am;  After this time, you will need to call the site cell phone to have someone come out to greet you and check your camper in.

• Check Out 

  • Will begin at 4:30pm in the outside lane; if you arrive before this time, you will need to call the site cell phone to have someone come out to greet you.  

  • Campers must be picked up by 6:00pm.

• Please be prepared to show a photo ID.  

PAPERWORK - if this is your first week to attend camp, the following must be submitted BEFORE your camper attends camp

• • IMMUNIZATION RECORD - If your camper is not a CSISD student, please provide a copy of your camper's immunization record.

SWIMMING

• If your camper has passed their swim test, please allow them to wear their green bracelet for future weeks enrolled

• If you elected for your camper to wear a life jacket at all times, please allow them to wear their red bracelet for future weeks enrolled.

• If your camper has NOT passed their swim test, please allow them to wear their orange bracelet for future weeks enrolled

• If your child is enrolled in multiple weeks of camp, it is helpful if they can continue to wear the bracelet they have been assigned.

FIELD TRIPS

• Always wear your OFFICIAL SDC FIELD TRIP shirt, except swimming.

• All campers and staff will attend the scheduled field trips.

• If your camper misses the bus, they will not be able to stay at the campus.

• If your camper has any conflicts with an all day/out of town field trip, they will not attend camp for that day.  

• For local trips, you can check in/out at the field trip location.   Please communicate your arrangements with our staff before the trip.
