Activities Lead
Dedicating time to explore skill and talent with our campers is a major componet to Summer Day Camp. Each week campers engage in pre selected, preferenced based morning activities. Within their chosen morning activities that take a deep dive into their interest. Our activities leads set the stage for this to happen among our staff and campers. They are tasked with setting up activities, visiting and supporting activites, and providing feedback to staff.
As a leadership position, they model, encourage, and provide feedback to staff in the areas of facilitation and creativity. Activities Leads will delegate staff to take ownership and plan out their designated morning activity.
Prior to the start of camp, activities leads will spend a significant amount of time collaborating as a team, planning, and ironing out the details that go into the morning activity time for each week of camp.
